Refund policy
Returning a product, you ordered from Choice is simple. We want you to be happy with all your purchases from us. If something’s not right, the goods are faulty or you just changed your mind, you can return the product to us within 14 days, and we will gladly refund or exchange it once you have a valid proof of purchase (store receipt or online order confirmation).
Exclusions do apply on certain items for health & Safety reasons (see section Exceptions / non-returnable items below).
Damaged, Faulty, Missing or Incorrect Items
We take great care to ensure that all orders leave our warehouse in perfect condition. In the unlikely event that your goods are received damaged, faulty, incomplete or incorrect, you must notify our Customer Care team as soon as reasonably possible and no later than 48 hours after delivery so that we can investigate and resolve the issue promptly.
Customers are responsible for inspecting their delivery upon receipt. Where deliveries consist of multiple boxes, cartons or components (for example garden furniture sets, BBQs, gazebos or other bulky items), all packaging should be checked at the time of delivery to ensure the full order has been received and that no visible damage has occurred in transit.
If damage is visible at the time of delivery, customers should note this with the delivery driver where possible or refuse the affected item(s).
When reporting an issue, customers may be required to provide:
- Photographs of the outer packaging
- Photographs of the damaged, faulty or incorrect item(s)
- A clear image of the delivery label
- Confirmation of any missing cartons, components or accessories
This information allows us to raise a claim with our delivery partners and suppliers.
Failure to notify us of transit damage, missing items or incorrect deliveries within the stated timeframe may affect our ability to investigate the matter and may result in the claim being declined.

If you are unable to return the item to a store, please contact our Customer Care team via the Contact Us page. Where a return is approved, we will arrange collection with our delivery partners at no cost to you. This includes bulky items such as garden furniture, BBQs and gazebos.
Once the returned item has been received and assessed, and the issue is confirmed as valid, we will offer a refund, replacement or repair as appropriate. Refunds will be issued using the original method of payment.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights in relation to goods that are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.
Change of mind
If you changed your mind about the item(s) you bought in-store or online, we can offer a credit note within 14 days of the purchase provided they are unused, in saleable condition, and in original unopened intact packaging, with all parts.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Products that have been modified, damaged, or altered cannot be returned. Due to Public Health and Safety, we cannot accept returns on the following items unless they are unopened & sealed in original packaging or are faulty – (bedding, duvets, sheets, mattress toppers, pillows, pillowcases, valances, electric blankets, throws, blankets, furniture covers, towels, curtains, toilet seats, costumes and clothing).
Gift Cards
Unfortunately, we’re unable to provide a refund or exchange on gift cards purchased in-store or online.
Items returned without a receipt
We cannot facilitate returns on any item(s) without a receipt, proof of purchase or web order confirmation.
Returns Eligibility Terms and Conditions
See below the terms and conditions which may affect the eligibility of your return:
- To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
- Delivery & collection charges will be applied for bulky items that we collect if you just changed your mind.
- If there was an error on our part or the goods are damaged or faulty, we will deliver/collect for free. Please be aware that if your purchase is not repackaged correctly (for example, because it's not safe or parts could fall out and go missing), our delivery partner may refuse to collect it.
- Store credit notes cannot be redeemed for cash.
Additional requirements for specific returns
- Electrical appliances must be clean and fit for inspection; all kettles etc. must be fully descaled where applicable.
- For combination items e.g, Buy one get one free, all items must be returned to process a refund.
- Items purchased with gift receipts/vouchers cannot be refunded and qualify for exchange only.
Process for Payment of Refunds
If you are returning products that are purchased in-store that qualify for a refund, the reimbursement will be made via the same payment method that was used to buy the goods e.g., if it was a credit card, that card must be produced at the time of the return to facilitate the refund.
For web orders that have been returned in-store or via courier collection/delivery, we will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. Refunds can take 5-7 working days and will be made to the same card or payment method used at the time of purchase.
How do I return goods?

With change-of-mind items, the cost to send them back to us must be incurred for the postage/delivery by you and are non-refundable. Collection charges may be applied for large items you would like us to collect, which our customer service team will discuss with you when you request a return.
